And Common Sense dies with a whimper....

UPDATE: It was Democracy because it was a fair vote. It was just the death of integrity

COP fellates Big Al's

Despite Gary Sandberg's clear case (as in what the frak don't you understand, Ardis??) against the clear sailing of selling the new site to Big Al's for song to make way for the "Wonderful Development", the city council rubber-stamped the sale.

Shame on your sorry asses!

In a perfect world, indictments would be forthcoming but that's just me.

City of Peoria - Owned and operated by Big Al's & special interests...as usual. Does the Museum, O'Brien Field, Mid-Town Plaza and the Wreck Plex sound familiar??

WE NEED CHANGE ON THE PEORIA CITY COUNCIL!!!

C.J. Summers for Council!!!!!!!!!!

Ardis OUT - Turner OUT - Gulley OUT - Montelongo OUT - VanAuken OUT

GUT THE COUNCIL!!!!!! (in the voting booth)

Disclosure: I've been to Big Al's several times - I have nothing against a strip club. IT'S ABOUT PROCESS!!!!

Does that feel GOOOD, Al???

UPDATE: The dearth of criticism in the local press about process shows who's also doing some fellatting. Wait..what am I saying? Local press? Corporations have gutted local press. TV and print. Terry Bibo and Paul Gordon that might have raised a red flag have been shown the door. Local TV "news" is scared of it's own shadow.

Again, please vote for non-incumbents in the upcoming Peoria city council elections.

WE CAN take back our city.

WEAVER SUMMERS AKESON GRAYEB and KEEP SANDBERG!

I never understand Peorians who complain about the sorrowful way the City Councilpeople vote but don't put forth great effort to vote them out.

I agree. Out with Turner and Spain. In with C.J. and Akeson in this election. The other later.

I agree, here is something Peorians can do about the future and it is as simple as voting.
